(Novel) The Bear (James Oliver Curwood) 1916

Okay so this is actually a book not a film but it was certainly worth a quick mention.

A lesser known novel that should be on the essential classics list. Short and well-paced, with concise yet beautiful descriptive power 'The Bear' swaps between two opposing viewpoints to create a surprising amount of emotional tension. I was so relieved to find this book, certainly something I would want to read to my children one day. Perhaps suitable as a kind of bed-time story for mature teenagers.
